I'm not sure about your experience, but our December was bustling, enjoyable, and exhausting! And we even got a little visit from the dreaded Flu (anyone else a bit sick over the holidays??) It was a full month, but we're delighted to see our puppies getting comfortable with their new families. We had a litter that turned eight weeks old on December 19, and several families used this timing to tie a red ribbon around a little standard poodle puppy and surprise a loved one! With full hearts, we can say that the entire litter has been reserved, and most are happily adoring their new families.
If you want to see a video of one family's Christmas surprise (Belle) check out this Instagram Video! (While you're there be sure to follow us on IG if you haven't already! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTgcCRMDwCV/?igsh=MXc3NmVhMTE0cDR3OA==
It's especially fun when someone wants to give one of our puppies as a surprise and asks us to be part of the adventure! WAY back in November I was talking to a wonderful lady and she really wanted the puppy. But in the end her hubby said no, it wasn't a good time. Just a couple of hours later I got a message from her husband! Could I help him surprise his wife on Christmas morning! We managed to arrange all the details without his sweet wife finding out, and he drove several hours and picked up the puppy a few days before Christmas. The whole extended family was involved in this 'secret,' as the puppy stayed with an 'aunt' for a few days leading up to the big day. We heard that it was a complete surprise, and I think there were a few happy tears shed!

We had a fantastic experience bringing our puppies to their new families right before Christmas! The smiles we witnessed make all of the puppy raising worth it! We met families in various cities just a few hours away from our home. Each time, we made an effort to do some Christmas shopping, and we successfully finished all our shopping a few days before Christmas!
Here are a few of our puppy go homes - you just can't help but smile, can you?
Poodles possess an incredible knack for making themselves at home, even when they've just arrived at a new house. Several families have shared photos of their poodle puppy settling in, and it seems they absolutely LOVE being the center of attention!
Now that 2025 is in the past, we're excited about what's ahead! You might be curious if we still have puppies available. Yes, we certainly do! The next litter ready to go home is from Ebony and Casper. This standard poodle litter boasts an exciting mix of colors and patterns, making it extra fun! There are two boys (both of the black and white Parti's) and three girls available. They will grow to about 50 lbs and will be ready to go home on January 24, 2026 (is anyone used to writing "2026" yet??). Here are some pictures of them; they're incredibly fluffy and soft at this stage! Our puppy page has a few more pictures of each of these little ones.
The next litter was born just before Christmas, on December 18. Copper and Alice are the proud parents. This litter consists of just two strikingly red puppies, one male and one female, both with natural tails and dewclaws. (Several of you have asked if we ever do a littler with natural tail and dew claws, so I finally did! Contact me if you'd like to reserve one of them!) They will be ready for their new homes on February 12. We expect them to reach a mature weight of around 55 lbs. Both of them are available!
Our final litter of poodles for this season we are calling "oodles of poodles" arrived on January 2, 2026! The proud parents are Ruby and Copper. The litter consists of five boys and two girls. These puppies will be ready to meet their new families starting on February 27. They range in color from dark red to apricot and will grow to weigh approximately 55 lbs. (This is our last litter for a few months! No one else is currently pregnant! So if you're wanting a "spring" puppy, this is probably your litter :-D)
We hope everyone is adjusting to the relaxed pace of winter and appreciating the blessings and joys each day offers. If you're considering welcoming a Standard Poodle Puppy into your life in the coming months, please don't hesitate to contact us! Additionally, for those who have one of our puppies, whether they're six months old or several years old, we'd love to see pictures of them! If you could let us know the puppy's name we gave or when you brought them home, that would be fantastic! My kids are always asking me "Has anyone sent any updates recently?" We really do love seeing the updates, hearing about their personalities, and seeing how well they're doing! If you've read this far - thank you! Truly! I have a little idea I want to run by you. I'm thinking about offering some of my favorite products on my website. Things like the training treats we like, salmon oil, and maybe even a puppy go home kit that includes everything but the puppy to get new families off to a great start. I'd love to hear if you think this sounds interesting to you or if you already have all of your favorite poodle products and sources!
