If you follow us on Instagram (if you don't what are you waiting for? @AboveStandardPoodles) you may have seen in our stories this past week that Mama Ruby and Daddy Copper welcomed a beautiful litter of red standard poodle puppies!!! EEEEK! It's been a bit since we had red puppies, and we are so excited for these little ones! While it's hard to believe with how tiny they are right now, these puppies will be ready to go home August 25th, 2025! Reservation spots are open for this litter! Started Puppies

We've had so much fun with our started puppies! We currently have two boys who are very nearly ready to settle into life with their forever family.

Gilbert, Silver and White Standard Poodle Puppy

Gilbert is the poodle version of the boy next store. He has gentle eyes and an easy smile. He is the kind of easy going boy that lets the cats eat out of his food bowl. He is people focused and is ALWAYS watching his person to see what she wants next. 

Gilbert is a stunning silver and white parti boy. While he is shaved down VERY short for summer, you can see his gorgeous silver saddle. He is a looker! I'd be very interested in breeding to Gilbert in the future if someone semi-close wanted to keep him intact. :-D

Nolan, Cream AKC Standard Poodle

This is Nolan :-D Nolan is doing great in our started party program. He is doing especially well with loose leash walking. However, he is a bit of a stinker. When we tell him to sit, and he can see that we don't have a treat at the ready, he just looks around like he is trying to figure out where the voice telling him to sit could be coming from. Bahaha We are onto you Nolan! Poodles right?? Too smart for their own good sometimes! But we love them for it!

I hope you all have a fun 4th of July planned! We will be spending a few hours at the river swimming with friends, then coming home to check on the poodles, walk mama Ruby, and then going back out for fireworks! God Bless the USA!
